Use of rubbing alocohol for your water color

Use of rubbing alocohol for your water color

Water is a great mixer for any media, either a water color or acrylics or
water based oils, or mixed media art. Similarly, rubbing alcohol has versatile
usage with art work.

Although it has different chemical make up, it could be unpredictable just like
water. It does resist the water in the wash but it does soak up the paper and penetrates
deep. However, it can create and produce great effects for you. It can bring surprises for
you too.

For example if your wash is too dry, it will have no effect at all. If your wash is too wet,
the alcohol dropped in with a dropper will look wonderful for a second but will then simply
fill back in. Try using it with color and see the different effects it produces.
